Thai Yoga Massage
Mindful bodywork on the mat. Gentle pressure, expansive stretches and deep stillness – I take you into a passive yoga that you only have to receive.
Bodywork at Sinnergie
Yoga that you don't do yourself
Thai yoga massage is passive yoga. You lie comfortably and fully clothed on a soft mat on the floor – and I move you. With hands, thumbs, forearms and feet I work with gentle, rhythmic pressure along the energy lines of your body and guide you into mindful stretches that you would hardly give yourself.
This ancient healing art combines acupressure, joint mobilisation and yoga postures into a calm flow. Nothing is forced, nothing overwhelms. I follow your breath and your pace, until tension releases on its own.
What shifts along the way
- Tension is allowed to leave – stuck fascia, tired shoulders, a stiff back find their way back into spaciousness.
- New room to breathe – the stretches open the chest, your breath becomes deeper and freer.
- Calm in the nervous system – the steady pressure works like rocking, your system shifts from doing into being.
- Presence in the body – you come out of your head and back into sensation, fully in the here and now.
After a session many feel grounded and light at the same time – as if they had set down something they had carried for too long.
For two as well: couples massage
Touch connects. In my couples workshops you learn to massage each other – simple, effective techniques of Thai yoga massage that you can keep giving each other at home afterwards.
It's not about technique alone, but about mindful presence for one another: breathing together, giving and receiving, sharing stillness. A gift to your relationship that resonates for a long time.
The next Couples Yoga & Thai Massage Workshop takes place on 26 September from 4–8 pm. View all dates →
